Pre-Primary Teachers Training Course
The Pre-Primary Teachers Training Course (PPTTC) at Star Academy is designed for aspiring educators who want to build a strong foundation in early childhood education. This program follows the NCERT syllabus and equips teachers with the knowledge, skills, and creativity needed to nurture children in Play Group, Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG.
With a balance of theory, practical learning, and hands-on activities, this course prepares you to become a confident and innovative pre-primary teacher.
What You Will Learn
The curriculum is divided subject-wise to cover both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching methods:
Paper I
Child Psychology
Understanding child behavior, emotions, and learning patterns.
Child Development
Physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children
Principles of Child Education
Modern teaching methodologies, Montessori and play-way methods.
Paper II
Child Nutrition and Health
Essentials of a healthy lifestyle for young children.
Methods in Child Education
Activity-based teaching and classroom management.
Work Experience & Activities:
- Drawing – Creative expression through art.
- Craft – Hands-on activities like paper folding, collage making, etc.
- Clay Models, Articles, Paper Bags – Enhancing fine motor skills and creativity.
- Festival & National Day Presentations – Republic Day (26th Jan), Independence Day (15th Aug), Teacher’s Day (5th Sept), Gandhi Jayanti (2nd Oct), Children’s Day (14th Nov), etc.
- Worksheets Development – Alphabets, numbers, and geometrical figures.
- Lesson Plans – Designing engaging lesson plans for different age groups.
- Storytelling, Rhymes, Puppetry, Role Play – Building communication and imagination in kids.

Eligibility
- Minimum SSC (10th pass) or equivalent
